# How I use AI

> My stance on artificial intelligence: a tool, used carefully, named openly - and I pass the savings on.

For me, artificial intelligence is a **tool**, like a compiler, a camera or a mixing desk. I use it to give people even more powerful tools: software that does more, costs less and leaves more room for what you actually want to do.

## What AI is not for me

AI should not replace art or artists. Music, images and texts that mean something to people come from experience, attitude and craft. My software should support exactly that, not make it redundant.

## Why I still use AI content

FK-Onlineservices is a small company. Often I cannot commission a professional for every image, translation or draft without making my products considerably more expensive. Then I use AI-generated content.

It is **carefully curated**:

* A person selects, checks and revises before anything is published.
* What is wrong, does not fit or could mislead is not published.
* Where essential content was created with AI, I say so, on this page.

## The savings are yours

What I save in time and money through AI, I pass on: in my products through lower prices, free versions and more features, in client projects through fixed prices that would be higher without AI.

## Where I use AI

* **Development:** AI assistants help write code. I review and test every change before it ships.
* **Texts and translations:** drafts and translations are partly created with AI. I read and revise them before they are published.
* **Images:** some graphics, such as product images, are AI-generated. Real screenshots of my software always show the real software.

## On this website

I wrote the texts of this website and translated them into English with AI assistance, and checked them before publishing.
