Solution

Introduce e-invoicing before it gets urgent

Receive, check, file and issue in the required format - e-invoicing for small businesses in Germany, set up at a fixed price from €690.

The problem

Since 2025 all businesses in Germany must be able to receive e-invoices. From 1 January 2027 businesses with more than €800,000 turnover in the previous year must also issue them, from 1 January 2028 all businesses trading with each other.

In many businesses XRechnungen still land in the inbox as unreadable attachments, get printed or typed in by hand. And their own invoices still go out as PDFs.

The solution

I set up the whole way, with the programs you already have:

  • Receiving: e-invoices arrive in one place, whether by e-mail or portal.
  • Checking: mandatory details and amounts are checked automatically, duplicates detected.
  • Filing: every invoice is shown readably and archived in an audit-proof way.
  • Handover: your tax adviser or accounting gets the data in the right format.
  • Issuing: your own invoices go out in the required format, as XRechnung or ZUGFeRD.

How it runs

  1. Check (€149): I look at how invoices arrive and go out today.
  2. Fixed-price quote: you know the cost beforehand.
  3. Setup: usually one to three working days, tested with sample invoices.
  4. Support: when formats or programs change, I adapt.

What it costs

€690 to €1,490 net, depending on the number of channels and programs. You know the exact price after the check, before work starts.

Frequent questions

From when must my business issue e-invoices?

If your turnover in the previous year was above €800,000, from 1 January 2027. All other businesses from 1 January 2028. You have had to be able to receive e-invoices since 1 January 2025.

Is a PDF invoice sent by e-mail an e-invoice?

No. An e-invoice is a structured data record, for example in the XRechnung or ZUGFeRD format. A plain PDF does not count as an e-invoice.

Do I need new accounting software?

Usually not. Many programs already handle e-invoices; what is missing is the setup and the process around it. Where they don't, I connect your program with a suitable solution.

Does this apply to invoices to private customers?

No. The obligation concerns invoices between businesses in Germany. It does not apply to private customers or to small invoices up to €250.

What does it cost you today?
